Thomas Sule receives recognition for tech leadership at Africa’s Illustrious Awards
Thomas Sule, CEO of Glosskode Limited, has received the Award of Excellence and recognition at Africa’s Illustrious Awards, which took place at Oriental Hotels on Sunday. The ceremony honoured leaders across various fields, with guests including AIG Fayoade, actor Charles Okocha, comedian Ali Baba, and footballer Odion Ighalo.
Sule was recognised for his work in driving technology-based solutions across the telecom, digital health, and security sectors. Over the years, he has led several projects aimed at solving practical challenges in African communities using technology.
Under his leadership, Glosskode Limited has introduced products such as GlossCare, a telemedicine platform designed to improve healthcare access for people in remote and underserved areas. He is also behind an anti-kidnap security solution aimed at helping communities respond to growing security concerns.
“This award is not just about me,” said Sule. “It is about the teams, the vision, and the belief that technology can help solve real problems across Africa.”
The organisers of the Africa’s Illustrious Awards described the recognition as a reflection of Sule’s continued effort to use innovation for public good. His focus on delivering digital tools for both private and public use has positioned him as a key voice in the region’s growing tech space.
Sule’s work continues to spark interest across Africa, especially among young innovators seeking to use technology to improve lives.
