Job Description
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end financial processes, from financial reporting to budget management. You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and coordinate audits. Your role will include developing financial strategies, improving financial processes, and leading the accounting team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about ensuring the financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to align financial resources with company goals.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring all audit requirements are met.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Qualifications
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
Analytical Abilities:
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
Leadership:
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
